Prerequisites – CCNA R&S and CCNA Security

1. Introduction to CheckPoint Architecture and describing its key element. Understanding the purpose and basic operation of 3-tiered architecture, controlling network traffic and deploying CheckPoint options.

2. Learning Security Policy Management by being familiar with unified security policy, inspecting traffic taking place and Recalling how to implement CheckPoint backup techniques.

3. Recognizing CheckPoint security solutions & products and understanding the ways how they protect our network. Understand why licensing and contract are requirements for Check Point security solution.

4. Understanding and deploying VPNs and CheckPoint Communities. Learn to analyze and interpret VPN tunnel traffic.

5. Identify tools designed to monitor data, determine threats and recognize opportunities for performance improvements under Traffic Visibility. Also identify tools used to respond quickly and efficiently to changes in gateways, tunnels, remote users and traffic flow patterns or security activities.

6. Recognize how to define users and user groups for your environment and manage user access for internal users and guests.

7. Learn Basic concept of ClusterXL technology and its advantages. Installation and configuration of ClusterXL with a High Availability configuration.

8. Administrator Task Implementation by understanding how to perform periodic administrator tasks as specified in Administrator job descriptions.

9. Preparing Smart Event Reports. Learn how to effectively create it, customize it and generate network activity reports.

Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) R80 Certification Exam details:

Candidates opting for CCSA R80 certification must have prior knowledge of deployment platform, security policies, Monitoring Traffic and Connections, Network Address Translations, User Management, and Authentication, use of SmartUpdate, Implementing Identity Awareness, Configuration VPN tunnels and Resolving security administration issues.

Latest exam code of CCSA R80 certification exam is 156-215.80. Fee for CCSA R80 certification exam is 250 (USD). CCSA R80 exam is conducted online in Pearson Vue testing centers.

There are around 90 questions in latest CCSA R80 Online Exam which you have to attempt in 90 minutes. Roughly four out of five questions of the 90 questions on the exam that will be based on content, or can be according to the knowledge gained during the course training. The remaining questions will be based on experience gained while using the product.
