Why we must use single area OSPF as underlying routing protocol for MPLS ? ?

There is no such requirement to run ospf single area for mpls, unless you want to use MPLS TE feature.

When used with MPLS TE OSPF also share information about reserved bandwidth on the links in LSA's.
