Salary package of a CCIE Security Engineer in India depends a lot on few things such as Profile/Process, Location, Clients, Technical Skills, Leadership Skills etc.

Lets talk about an ideal scenario where A CCIE Security Certified Engineer has good technical skills and working in Gurgaon or Bangalore, and that person is mature and experienced enough to handle a team of 5-10 engineers.

So this person with 5 years of experience must get at-least 15-20 lacs per annum.

+ If this guy has earned some other certifications or hands-on knowledge on technologies like Juniper/CheckPoint Firewalls etc, then he must be getting little more than this.

If your aim is to get CCIE Security Certification and build a bulletproof/recession proof career, make sure you have good hands-on knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching + Security technologies, along with in-depth understanding on Multi Vendor Security solutions and tools.
