Hello Naveen, As per recently updated Cisco certification changes we have a new list of Cisco exam fees. To become Cisco CCIE Security V6 certified you must pass two exams, 1. The Qualifying Exam for Security track i.e SCOR, costs 400 USD. 2. The CCIE Security V6 Lab exam costs 1600 USD. So, passing the CCIE Security V6 exam will cost you (2000 USD + GST) in total. Yes, you are right! Each CCNP module certification has a validity of 3 years. And as you pass any CCNP module exam, your current and previous certificate validity get extended up to recently passed exam validity. Yes…  Cisco changed the CCIE Security lab exam version from 5.0 to version 6.0 and the 400-251 CCIE Security Written exam got updated to 350-701 SCOR. I would say both. CCIE R&S and CCIE Security have been in demand since Cisco certifications were introduced and after the update, its demand will increase evenly. While manufacturing jobs are being killed off by automation and globalization, the need for IT professionals is steadily increasing. Yes, you must start preparing Now. If you have already cleared the CCIE written exam then you must be ready for the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure V.1 lab exam. But If you are not CCIE written exam certified then you must prepare for the new qualifying exam i.e ENCOR. Either you go for CCNP training or certification exam, CCNA training is mandatory. Also, CCNA certification is one of the prerequisites for attempting the CCNP certification exam. So, the answer is, No you cannot do CCNP directly without taking CCNA training.
