Cisco Certifications are one way to start and the first Certification that you should target is CCNA Routing & Switching.

After CCNA R&S, you will be eligible for entry level jobs in the Industry.

BGP is part of CCNP certification and MPLS is not covered in CCNP. BGP protocol is huge; it is covered more in detail in Service Provider track of Cisco. If you really want to study BGP and MPLS in detail, you need to look for CCIE R&S or CCNP SP + CCIE SP Certification Training.
