Hello Sir, actually at that time, our plan was to make a DHCP server inside of a standalone autonomous 2702 AP, But now we have already created another VLAN for an external Windows DHCP server providing IPs from a specific subnet. Hence, I just mentioned the VLAN number in the configurations of 2702 AP and now my AP is providing IPs from only that DHCP server subnet. Anyways, thanks sir for your c... (more)

Which routing protocol & which network is configured on & between both routers?

Anirudh answered this on May 20

You can use either static routing or any routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF etc.

But here I see that you might have typed a wrong network ID for the LHS LAN network. It should not be 192.168.1.0/25.

You also need to give a subnet network IPs between both the routers and run the specific protocol on both interfaces of both routers.

You can use here parser view feature to control these types of access. Are you looking for configuration.

Sir, I have run this command 'privilege exec level 15' to all the commands except show, ping, traceroute and extended traceroute and have provided 'privilege exec level 1' to them. Is this preferable?

Let me give you basic configuration.Assume we have this topology:- Configure ip addresses on both devices and also configure telnet on R1.I will make sure client can only run ping and traceroute commands. Now we will create view for this client on R1.By default router is in root view. Requirements:- 1)Enable AAA New Model aaa new-model 2)Enable password must be se... (more)
